Joseph Hinson

Joseph (or Joe if you prefer less formal) is a Denver transplant, moving from Seattle in 2012 after getting his BAs in Journalism and Business Management at WSU (Go Cougs) to pursue his JD at the University of Denver.

Joe has extensive experience in several different areas of law, including financial crimes, cannabis regulations, HOA representation, and in-house counsel at a medical device company. What do they have in common? They require a lot of attention to detail and the ability to make sure everyone involved knows what they’re doing, what’s expected of them, and most importantly, WHY.

As a diagnosed extrovert, Joe’s practice of law focuses heavily on the communication element, making sure he is able to translate what is essentially a foreign language (there’s a reason they call it Legalese) to all audiences in order to create actionable strategies to get to the best outcome possible. Joe has practiced family law in a pro bono and volunteer capacity for many years during and after law school, and is thrilled to be able to actually help folks through challenging times of their lives. In his spare time, Joe is a music aficionado (especially concerts), avid guitarist, hiker, and since 2013, Joe has played in the Denver Gay and Lesbian Flag Football League (one of the largest such leagues in the country) and currently serves on its board of directors.”
