Lynne Milford

Attorney

Attorney Lynne Milford decided many years ago to devote her work as a lawyer to helping people divorce differently.

Sometimes when facing the prospect of a family break-up, with all the unknowns and all the fear and all the heartache, maintaining sanity can seem like a far-reach or a secondary goal after mere survival.

As a lawyer who has worked for over 30 years with families in crisis or during difficult periods of transition, Lynne believes that a collaborative mind-set  encourages solutions to the whole family’s overall needs and promotes the general wellness of all the family members affected.  The positive result can be emotional growth and financial security, and that enables parents to focus on the needs of their children.  Lynne advocates strongly for creating a new path for yourself and your family – one that does not suffer from the lasting effects of a toxic divorce.  Lynne sees the emotional stability and financial welfare of a family as being a part of the quality of life she wants for her own family.

This approach to her work resonates strongly with the New Leaf approach, one that offers clients the opportunity to explore unique solutions to their unique family circumstances by encouraging the support and guidance of associated professionals who have specialized experience and education in areas that touch their lives.  Lawyers are a part of a “team” who offer guidance and options based upon their education and experiences.  At New Leaf Family, the client is the one in charge.

Lynne is inspired as an attorney and certified mediator by the unique opportunities offered by New Leaf Family. Lynne’s many years of experience in family law enable her to recognize and appreciate the benefits of supporting clients to make informed decisions regarding their goals for the future and to move forward with their lives in a productive way.

When she is not at work, Lynne loves to enjoy the beautiful outdoor spaces that Colorado offers.
